Eros is Eros is Eros: Hermit Crabs, Apple Trees, Pyrite, and Oxygen

As much as we Pagans like to talk about how we have no orthodoxies, I have suspected that this is simply not the case. We often claim to only be orthopraxic, though I really do not think anyone who has, boots on the ground, experienced the Pagan community in its diversity could really continue to hold to that position. One of the reasons that I personally, have chosen to largely withdraw from Patheos is because I have come to feel that the environment at Patheos is increasingly failing to support rich interfaith discussions, and the interaction of multiple viewpoints, and is instead becoming more and more a bastion for Pagan orthodoxy.
