Blogging/Networking – It Only Gets Harder

Many blogging articles will swear that “blogging gets easier” as you keep at it. I beg to differ. Blogging will always be easiest when you first start because of the lack of obligation that is present. Once you blog for a few years you begin to feel pulled in multiple directions. Time seems to commit partial suicide and everything begins to take longer. “Reading blogs” becomes a full day event, posting becomes an afterthought, and you begin to sacrifice other activities for your new one of blogging. It only gets harder.

I have found that bloggers are far more likely to connect with a new blog than one that has an established audience. There are many reasons for this, but it really boils down to suspicion.
